Hall & Oates Set List

Hall and Oates came out the gates blazing last night with "Maneater" as their opener, and "Out of Touch" third on the list! This show was a very clear reminder of just how many hits this duo released in the past few decades. It's really pretty astonishing.

  1. Highly disappointed in this show. 14 songs in 2 hours? They had MANY more hits than this.

  2. No - it was great. Many of the songs were extended jams. No Can Do went for ten minutes and highlighted the virtuosity of the band and Darry's vocal talents. They played for 90 minutes and did two encores. We were not shortchanged at all. Remember that Wolf Trap park is in a residential neigborhood in Vienna with a strict curfew on ending shows. If they were to play every single hit in their catalog H&O could easily play a 3 hour show.

  3. If it had been 90 min. AND two encores that would have been the right length, but 90 min. included encore time. Played one hour and ten minutes then exited with only a "see ya later"..we thought it was the intermission and started to step out for the break. When it became evident that the audience was clapping for an encore, we were flabbergasted that it was apparently the end!!Glad for the encore time, but most concerts last another 45 min. including the intermission and still are done by curfew time.
Artists usually say "thanks for coming" or something that indicates it's over..but only a "see ya later"?
Loved it but way too short!
