Ann McPherson McKee, Senior Vice President, Performing Arts & Education, supervises Wolf Trap’s Program and Production and Education departments as well as the Wolf Trap Opera Company. She handles booking all musical theater, National Symphony Orchestra and signature productions at the Filene Center and has overseen thousands upon thousands of performances at The Filene Center and The Barns at Wolf Trap. A graduate of Trinity University, she started in the performing arts as a designer, technical director and producer for various theatre and opera companies. Ann’s Wolf Trap experiences include finishing a Renée Fleming/National Symphony Orchestra production during a power outage, managing an in-house deluge from the sprinkler system during the Jazz and Blues Festival, and countless other tales. In her office, she is most likely to be found listening to albums by Eva Cassidy, Ella Fitzgerald, and Paul Simon. Ann has been with Wolf Trap since 1975.
