Melissa Chotiner joined the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts as Director of Public Relations in 2009. In this role, Melissa drives awareness for Wolf Trap's mission and its four pillars, The Filene Center, The Barns, Education and Opera, through traditional and new media as well as grassroots channels. Prior to working at Wolf Trap, Melissa managed public relations programs for a varitey of companies including Blackboard, eBay and iMaternity, among others. Her passion is in finding interesting and little known stories that can be shared in the press and new media channels. When she's not working, Melissa enjoys reading, running and spending time with her family. She lives in Takoma Park, Md with her husband, two daughters, black lab and two cats.
